Child pornography : Behavioural insights on adolescent sexuality

Abstract

Exposure to the modern internet world has resulted inpositive and negative impacts on children, adolescents,and adults. Advancements in technology and exposureto the internet have tremendously contributed to the risein online crimes involving children. Child pornographyis a dreadful offense that can knowingly or unknowinglydestroy the mental and physical health of a childinvolved in it. Watching pornography, showing sexualbehaviours, and being curious about understandingsexuality is a part of the normal behaviour of anadolescent. However, these behavioural changes leadingto dangerous habits need serious attention. Adolescentsexuality is significantly associated with their habitsduring development and peer groups. When thesehabits turn into addictions, clinical measures must beconsidered.
