Abstract
In the 21st century, there was a tremendousincrease in the usage of the internet, socialmedia & smart-phones, which led toprofound variations in sexual habits.Consequently, significant changes were seenamong adults under 49 years of age (Bulot etal., 2015). These days, the internet is theprimary source of consuming pornography.A recent review reported that most adultmen had accessed pornography at somepoint in their lives, and younger people below25 years of age are weekly consumers ofpornography (Miller et al., 2020).Generally, the increased consumption ofpornography is associated with sexualactivity and sexual experimentation oftenportrayed in pornography (Træen andDaneback, 2013). The escalated utilizationof images related to sexual nature developedthe permanent online presence of thepornography industry. Due to culturalconstraints and stigma attached to moralstatus, it is difficult for researchers to definepornography (Lindgren, 1993). They useeuphemistic terms to mention pornography, such as uncensored media or materials, aphrodisiacal or online sexual activity(Carroll et al., 2008; Lindgren, 1993;Manning, 2006; Short et al., 2012).
